In the shadows of her mother’s past, she must find her own light.

Cora has always lived in her mother’s shadow, doubting she can ever meet the expectations placed upon her. Her healing abilities are weak, and rather than glimpses of the future, she’s haunted by visions of her mother’s past. The only gift she can rely on is the Oldra trait of hearing every dragon’s call.

But when Cora is separated from her dragons and stranded in a world that feels more like a dream than reality, she’s overwhelmed by shadows from her mother’s past. Rescued by an outsider with his own secrets, he may be the only one she can trust, though even that feels uncertain.

Yet in her isolation, Cora begins to uncover pieces of herself she never knew existed. As the darkness closes in, she must confront her deepest fears and discover her true strength—before she is consumed by the shadows forever.
