The Ash Queen
The Ash Queen
The world is an uncertain place for Frayne and his family. No one is who they appear to be and they don’t know if their enemies are working together or they have to fight on three fronts.
After the endless night, all their enemies appear to have vanished, but he knows they are waiting for an opportunity to return stronger. Still reeling from loss, Frayne is trying to protect what is left of his family, and determine the real threat to them and the kingdom.
His brother finds another witch instead of the queen he went in search of, and the general is not as he was. Something between his father and Nelda only makes him more nervous.
There are more threats in the kingdom of Burasal than Frayne imagined. Can magic taken from others work the same as it does for the witches? More than Sunsong is under threat as darkness moves through the kingdom. They need to find the power to work together, or there will be nothing left to fight for.
